I like meeting people when I travel and I'm usually attracted to people doing things differently than the norm. Take Cubs the Poet. Quiet. Thoughtful. Give him a few details of your life and he'll give you a poem. All he asked me was whether I wanted a poem about my past, my present or my future. I said future then, he wrote down a few thoughts and set to work on his good ole Royal typewriter. A typewriter with a ribbon he has to ink himself. Here's what he wrote.
"Letting go" Did you vote for the polls of your toils, spoils. Letting go of things are we? You haul a box full of time into a u-haul which does not have enough gas to make it to the future. Letting go? These thoughts taste, these positive vibes are reflective, mirrors wearing masks, did you vote today? Direction needs protection are you driving the correct way? Notice these things, for instance, when a poet drives the rear view mirror is detached.
